What is the difference between waterproof and water repellent?Updated 23 days ago

Our waterproof products are waterproof due to the unique membrane which is sandwiched inside the product, between the inner and outer layers.

The outer layer will become wet but this will not be able to penetrate through to the skin.

Our water repellent products are single layer models.

These are treated so any water will bead and roll away from the material.

Water repellent products protect in light rain conditions, but will not hold off heavy rain as the water will eventually penetrate through.
